DIY- Neon Jewelry

Hey everyone!
I have this little DIY 'project' to show you.
As you might have noticed neon is really in this Spring and you can find neon jewelry in every store right now. Though I thought of making my own neon jewelry. All you need is some material and some creativity.

Items you will need:

Some old jewellery
Neon nail polish

So, let's start:

Step 1 - Choose the piece of jewelry you want to re-vamp. I chose this silver bracelet since I never wear it and also because I thought it would look cute when paiting each strand with a different color.

Step 2 - Choose your colors. I chose to paint mine in four different shades of neon; teal, peach, lilac and hot pink. Tip- try to choose colors that compliment each other.

Step 3 - Paint each strand of beads with a different color. It is important to leave each strand to dry for about 10 to 15 minutes before painting the next one.

Step 4 - Let it completely dry for a couple of hours. I left mine over night while I was sleeping and the next morning it was compeltely dry. At this pont you can re-touch some areas on your jewelry. And this is the result.

I think it turned out looking quite cute and when stacked with other bracelet it looks even better. It's a very inexpensive way to have trendy jewelry and it is also very fun to do.

So, what do you guys think of this idea? Leave me a comment and let me know :)
